Hi
I have an Acer  Z3-710 "AIO" system bought in 2015(4th Gen intel core i5-4590T processor). I would like to upgrade the booting system to an SSD.
I would like to know whether this model has any M2-SSD slot?
Can I use NVMe SSD for the booting drive ?
Whether the mother board is compatible for SSD upgrade?
Is it easy to open the AIO system for SSD upgrade?
Can anyone help me?

    Hi,
No, you have no M.2 SSD slot in your PC, so you can only upgrade your HDD with a 2.5" SSD, removing the back cover is not very difficult but need to be patient.

    Thank you very much .
Is the mother board compatible for the normal 2.5" SSD?
Which brand SSD will match this system?

You could choose to swap out the optical drive for a SSD using a cheap eBay caddy and keeping the drive bay door for OEM look. I used a 240gb drive, cloned the windows partition across Markit it as the new system drive, swapped out the optical drive with the caddy and booted. OnCe happy that it was working I deleted the old system partition.

It makes a massive difference to the load times coming from that slow 5400rpm drive. The times I need a DVD drove I’m happy to have an external drive.
