I've earned this laptop as a graduation prize, and I've owned this laptop for a week. Everything was going well until yesterday, when I recieved an external hard drive so I could download more games on my laptop. 2 hours while downloading GTA V, I was somehow disconnected from the internet. When I checked to see what's up, I noticed the list of available wifis were gone. So I turned my laptop off and turned it back on and the list of available wifis was back, but this time I can't connect to my wifi... When I typed in the password, it said, "The network security key isn't correct. Please try again." even though the password was correct, so I tried again, and now it said, "Can't connect to this network." I've tried everything I could by watching YouTube but nothing seems to work. Not even troubleshooting worked. I really need help on fixing this... I'm on the verge of taking this laptop to a repair shop..

Hi, try to uninstall and reinstall network drivers on the device.
    1) Right click on windows menu symbol towards the bottom left.
    2) You will see list of options click device manager then choose network.
    3) Find the network driver and right click and click uninstall.
    4) You will get a small box asking to uninstall. Click uninstall but do not check the box.
    5) Once Uninstalled restart the device and try to connect to the network. (Driver will be automatically reinstalled on restart.)

Sadly, it still didn't work... Forcing me to use an ethernet instead. But thanks anyways.

In that case please try to check for windows updates and make sure everything is updated and try to connect.

If that doesn't work then please try to reset the device and check but it will erase all data from the device so backup the data before trying it.
Click Shift and restart together which will take you to several options.
Click troubleshoot then reset this pc, choose clean drive then go through reset process.

If it still doesn't work then it could the network card might be having issue thus it's a hardware issue. If it's under warranty please check with acer warranty support. Otherwise please check with a local tech for help.
