  • Ideally you open the notebook and dry the motherboard immediately!

@Shivamaradhya  as @egydiocoelho stated you have to open it and dry it immediately (because it was user damage you just voided your warranty acer will not fix it for you under warranty) so just open it disassemble it all completely all parts piece by piece and dry them all one by one you can use for ex a hair drier (not on max heat) or just leave it out in the sun to evaporate the water/humidity if you have a dehumidifier (which would be great) leave the parts near it and in meantime buy some proper thermal paste like kryonaut or similar and after everything is properly dry might take a few days depending on what you use to do so assemble everything together repaste etc...

PS: under no circumstances try to turn on any electric device after any kind of liquid spilled if you already tried after you spilled the water im afraid you might had short circuited it already and its completely dead only a new mobo to fix it but if you didnt do it you might be lucky and get it back to work

  • @xapimI've been through a similar situation! I had spilled coffee on the keyboard! In my case, it only damaged the keyboard! From this moment, I leave any liquid there are miles away from the notebook! lol!
