I have an Aspire 6 - A615-51-881T. I haven't had it very long, am quite disappointed with it.

I press power, it tries to start up, then the blue screen that says 'Your PC ran into a problem and needs to restart. We'll restart it for you.' At the bottom of the screen, it says if I call I support person, to give them this info. Stop Code: BAD_SYSTEM_CONFIG_INFO.
Then it either goes to the 'Preparing Automatic Repair' page and just freezes there with no loading circle, doing nothing, or it will then go to 'Diagnosing your PC' to 'Attempting repairs' and then the loading circle keeps going round before a blue screen appears saying 'automatic repair couldn't repair your pc'.
Log file: 'C:\WINDOWS\System32\Logfiles\Srt\SrtTrail.txt

If I then turn it off and start again, it will go straight to the 'Preparing Automatic Repair' page and freeze there. Then the next time it will give me the blue screen and so on and so forth.
I looked up my options, because I am not tech savvy in the slightest. I went to the advanced options and tried to reset the pc and reinstall windows multiple times. It doesn't work regardless of whether I choose to keep or remove my files.
I've tried doing a system restore point recorded on my pc, it fails.
I've tried start-up repair. no luck.
It says it ran into a problem when I try 'Go back to the previous version'.
I even looked up a way to reset using command prompt, and that failed too.
I don't have a windows recovery DVD.

Please help - I don't care about keeping my files at this point. I just need to get the laptop up and working again. I don't even use it for the internet so I'm very confused as to why this has even happened in the first place. The only other pc we have in the house is a chromebook, which I am currently using right now.

I'm currently using the Windows troubleshooting page, and have done the whole 'chkdsk /f /r c:' thing in command prompt, it's currently in stage 5: looking for bad, free clusters and is taking quite a long time to do so. I'm not feeling confident that this will work. I looked up the date I purchased the laptop - January 2019, so well within the year's warranty, but I'd much rather just fix the laptop I already have rather than exchanging or getting a refund, if possible.

You can try formatting it using a bootable flash drive.

What does this mean? Would I have to download something onto a USB? I don't have another windows pc, will this be an issue? Also, my chromebook doesn't have a disk drive, so if it involves a CD... I'm in a bit of a pickle..

Do you a spare unit you can use?

Formatting your laptop manually might solve your problem but it will require a bootable flash drive and an Operating System(Windows) but you might also lose your original windows license in the process.

No I don't, and I'm concerned that I don't have the knowledge/capabilities to fix the problem myself even if I did. May have to take to a professional by the sounds of it! But thank you for your advice.
