Hi all,

I was wondering whether the Swift 3 laptop supports 1 TB M.2 SSDs? In a specifications it says "upto 512 GB", does that mean it cannot support 1TB SSDs? I know it supports NVMe. Has anyone tried to ft a 1TB M.2 SSD?

    Good afternoon miran_da_bear !

Actually only SSD's M.2 of up to 512Gb were tested by the service manual.
However, it may or may not work with 1TB according to the internal accesses of the motherboard and Bios support.
If it is a SATA 3 2.5 "SSD, the 1TB capacity is perfectly viable.

Thank you! I'll just stick to 512 GB then. :)

Thanks for the reply. Yes I did check out the crucial checker. They say it supports 1 TB, but alot of other post said to stick with the 512 GB. And I couldn't find anyone who has tried to put a 1 TB SSD. So I guess I'll play it safe. :)

You couldn't find anyone who installed 1 TB M.2 PCI NVMe?
What posts are you reading that say you can't use greater than 512GB?
