Recovery partition asking for administrator password. Aspire ATC-705-UC52

WINDOWS 10 64-BIT
INTEL I7 PROCESSOR 4790
1TB Hard Drive
12GB DDR3 Memory

I'm trying to do a complete System Recovery to restore my PC to factory settings by using the factory partition. Also all my personal data will be removed.

My blue screen says,
System Image Recovery
Hi, Administrator
Enter the password for this account. (Keyboard Layout:US)

I have never set up a administrator password to my knowledge.

  • Hello! Are you trying to restore the desktop by pressing alt + f10 before the acer logo? Have you tried using your microsoft password?

    Yes, I am trying to restore PC to factory settings.  When I turn on PC then turn off twice when bubble circle is swirling around I can get into system restore. When I do a complete wipe of all of my data it goes so far then says it's unable to remove all of my personal files. After it installs windows the background wallpaper comes up and says, "Administrator. Your account has been disabled. Please see your system administrator. Underneath that is the OK button. When I click on OK the screen goes blank for a couple of seconds then returns to the exact same screen. Pressing on enter does not bring up the window to enter a password. I've done this several times with the same results. 
    Also, the monitor in the bottom right-hand corner has a red circle with an x in it.

    As you can enter in the recovery menu, you can try entering in safe mode(troubleshoot>advanced>start up settings). If you are able to go past the login screen without this error, you will be able to create a new account with administrator privileges.

    If you are unable to enter in safe mode you can open command prompt from the troubleshoot section in the recovery menu and try the following command:

    net user administrator /active:yes

    Hopefully this will work.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    If the mentioned solution doesn't work, I believe your only option is to format the drive and re-install windows.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Yeah, by default the account for "Administrator" is disabled and if you don't have a user account setup there's no way to finish the boot. Ven98 has the solution, enable the Administrator account then create a new account for your use. Once you've done that you can go ahead and disable Administrator again.

    After I get to Startup Settings the only option I have is Restart. When it restarts I have nine options, ten if I press F10.
    None of the options say, "enable the Administrator account."
  • Is there any option to open the command prompt? If so, enter the command provided by colleague ven98!
