i noticed that when i play games on my helios 300 my cpu temps are from 70-85 Celsius maybe even a bit more

so short story, is this normal

    Looks below normal too me under heavy gaming loads. You probably need to play more challenging games. :)   Jack E/NJ

    What is the average temperature of the CPU? Temperature spikes, usually recorded as max temp, are not cause for concern as they last for milliseconds. If the average temperature isn't higher than 85C, then it won't cause throttling.
    Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

    Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    hey an update the maximum during a gameplay is rarley 87 and thats it never seen one go higher

    To reduce the temps you can undervolt the CPU with throttlestop.
