Hi we had to unplug our acer veriton N260g and when we plugged it back in the blue power light wont come on and the computer wont boot. there is power coming through the transformer as that is lit but not the pc itself. Ireferred to the manual which suggests checking the power override switch is not switched to off and says its located on the back above the power in socket but i cant find the switch any ideas please?

Well I understand what you are looking for but I do not believe the Veriton N260G has that switch. It should have an Ac adapter correct? My first initial guess would be bad power supply.

Actually, the Veritron N260G does not have a power supply. I looked at the picture and it does not have a power switch either. I would take it to a local tech to see what happened. Worse case senario, it would need a new motherboard.

ahh it says there is one in the manual and i seem to remember this has happened before and it was fixed by some hard to find button but maybe im wrong the power lead and adaptor are all lit up ok and it was working fine until we disconnected its just as if somethings preventing power getting to the box
