Hello. When I got this PC it had Windows 7, then I upgraded to windows 10. It used to start up and operate really fast. For a while now, when I boot it up, it beeps once and takes an extra long time to boot and the HDD takes a long time to do anything when I'm using it.

my current bios is P21-A3. In the Acer driver support section, it shows P21-A4 and I'm wondering if that will fix it? the bios compatibility post by Acer makes it sound like the most logical step, but i just want to make sure.

    Good night tieks0 !

This version of Bios is not meant to fix your problem.
    Your problem is not Bios.
Have you checked in Task Manager if the disk is experiencing the 100% usage problem constantly?

It is strange. Previously, it didn't always make the beep noise. It would start up normally. When it did beep, it took a lot longer to boot. Maybe the disk issue is separate..
