Sorry for my question as I am not a tech savvy.
What kind of m.2 ssd suits this model Acer Aspire 5 AS515-53-59jc
and what is pc/ddr/frequency of memory fits this unit. idk what's the right term after googling too much

    It has two m.2 slots. One m.2 two-lane PCIe/nvme which may have an optane card installed if you have a 2.5" HDD. An one m.2 SATA3 slot. It has one removable slot in which you can add up to a 16GB DDR4 module 2400MHz or higher frequency for a total of 20GB DDR4 RAM. Jack E/NJ

    My laptop has 2.5 5200RPM hdd. is m.2 SATA3 will work as SSD wherein I can boot my os from there? whats the difference between optane m.2 ssd and m.2 sata? Thank you for answering I really appreciate it :+1:

    The m.2 optane card helps to speed up and support the 2.5 HDD. Optane card usually is only about 32GB. Yes, you can replace the m.2 Optane card and boot from a regular m.2 SATA SSD card. You also have the option of replacing the 2.5 HDD with a 2.5 SSD which is usually cheaper than m.2 SATA SSD. You have many options. Jack E/NJ
