I've an aspire es1-520 with windows 7 installed on it. I don't want to upgrade to windows 10, however on the support pages of Acer I can only find the drivers for Windows 8.1 and 10.

I've already tried to download and install the driver versions for windows 10 and 8.1 but they doesn't work. Where can I download the WiFi drivers for windows 7?

    Good Morning Maxiride !

    This model has only been tested and approved in versions 8.1 and 10 of Windows.
    As such, Acer does not provide for other versions.
    In this case, you must search for drivers in other ways.
    You can purchase from the following maniera:

    1- Through WIndows Update;
    2- Using hardware identification software such as HWInfo64 (https://www.hwinfo.com/download/) and download directly to the developer's websites (such as Intel, Realtek, etc);
    3- Search in Google peli Hardware ID;
    4- Use some automation software such as Driver Pack (https://drp.su/pt-br) or Driver Booster (https://www.iobit.com/pt/driver-booster.php).

    I used the DriverPack solution, it did install several things and now the WiFi icon does appear with a red cross on it. After running the windows troubleshooter it says that the WiFi need to be enabled by turning the physical switch or with the FN key but even after pressing the FN+ (wifi icon on the keyboard) the WiFi doesn't turn on.

    You need to install Acer Quick Access, which controls the Fn keys.

    The support page has download options only for Windows 8.1 and 10. My PC, however, comes with Windows 7 on it, I've tried to download and install it anyway but as expected a "Operating System not Supported" message shows up.
