Undervolting Acer Nitro 5 an515-52

Hi,
I ve started reading a lot of things about undervolting as my laptop in turbo boos enabled reaches 90+ temperatures. The thing is that i saw people using intel XTU and stress testing for 9 hours straight and i kindda don t want to do that... Can u please explain me how much should i stress test it ? Also i d like to use throttle stop but it has no stress test incorporated. What stress tests should i use? And please tell me if i have to stress it 9 hrs... Im really beginner at undervolting but i want to lower my temperatures with turbo enabled as i get a bechmark score of 47% in userbenchmark.com with turbo disabled. With turbo enabled i get a score of 87%

You can use Prime95 or Aida64 for stress testing. The reason why some people run stress tests for 9 hours+ is to ensure best stability. You don't really need to run the stress test for that long, I do it for around 5 minutes longest. If the system freezes, while gaming, that means the undervolt is too low. In other words you can test for stability while simply using the device

Also i undervolted rn -100 on cpu core and cpu cache and -50 on intel gpu. The game doesn t crash but the temperature didn t lower too much, still hitting 90+ sometimes

Temperature spikes of 90C+ during gaming last for miliseconds and don't cause throttling. If you are observing 90C+ temperature, while stress testing both CPU and GPU at the same time, I don't consider this a realistic situation, therefore the device will never reach these temperatures in games. It is good if the average temperature doesn't reach above 85C in games. You can also push the voltage a bit lower.

What option should i use in prime 95?, small, in place large, or blend?

Test with both small and large FTTs one at a time, not that you can choose both at the same time.

ive been stress testing for like 12 minutes with prim95 and in throttle i got -120mv and max temp i got was 80 degrees celsius. Is it ok ?

Yes, that is fine, just mind that in games the temperature will be a bit higher, because the GPU will be active too, so you will have 2 components generating heat.
