my usb microphone is not working

Bought my laptop acer nitro 5 yesterday and now I tested my usb microphone (Samson G-Track Pro). It was blinking red which means my voice is distorted. It always blinks red everytime I use my mic in any applications. Though this is my situation, I think any other mics won't also work. Should I use my warranty?

    Have you tested the handset on other handsets?
    Have you updated all your drivers?
    Have you tried another microphone on your Nitro 5?
    Have you checked the recording device settings?

    I don't know if I need to update some drivers, how do I know if I need to?
    No, I only have my usb microphone for recording.
