Hello guys!!!

I installed a few games and the heaviest ones are: Watch Dogs 2 and The Witcher 3.

The Witcher I´m running in High configuration and it~s working @60 fps.
Watch dog´s in High and a lot of other things I dropped the settings, but the performance still the same: 30-50 FPS, do not change!

It's a recent formate Helios 300
i7-7700hq
16GB
1060 6GB
SSD Kingston.

All drivers UP to Date!!

Power profile in windows: High Performance!
CPU Undervolted in -130 (Stable)

I'm out of ideias!!!  Any help???

Thanks!!!

Use HWiNFO to check CPU and GPU usage, frequency and temperatures while playing watchdogs 2 for 10-20 minuted and post screenshots. You can do the same with witcher 3, so you can have some data to compare. As the graphics settings don't affect FPS, then I suspect the CPU is the limiting factor(bottleneck).

Is the RAM working in dual-channel?

Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

    Hello Ven98!

I'll use this app you told me.

And one thing I found right after I created my post is the Dual Channel performance in Watch dogs2..... you can lose 20 to 30 fps only because of single channel!!!

And my Acer came with one 16GB memory only  :(

I just ordered a kit of 2x8gb.... I hope this is the issue!!! hhahahaha

First check if the CPU isn't throttling before purchasing 2x8GB RAM.

I was checking in real time with Afterburner, and the clock was not going down, even after hours.

But I will check with this app

By the way is the device plugged in while you are gaming?

If the CPU isn't throttling, then having dual-channel will help increasing the FPS. Some games like dual-channel a lot, so Watch Dogs 2 could be one of them and you might get some good improvement.

You might want to purchase another 16GB module that matches the existing one to work in dual-channel, instead of spending more money and still having 16GB. Here are the requirements for dual-channel:
    • Identical module capacity of the module pair (128MB, 256MB, 512MB, 1GB, etc.)
    • Identical DRAM technology of the module pair (128MB, 256MB, 512MB or 1GB)
    • Identical DRAM bus width of the DRAMs used on the module pair (x8 or x16)
    • Both modules either only single-sided (1 rank) or only dual-sided (2 rank)
    • Make sure that both memory modules have the same frequency and latency.

.... Yeah, but I still want to test the App you told me before, nice to have other options to monitor the system.

About the memory. I found one solution for me to change with out expend any money hahahahah.... My friend will buy my 16gb memory, and with this money I can buy the exactly 2x8gb kit! hehehehe  Good for everybody!
