    • Poor performance on battery (Acer Nitro)

    I have a new Acer Nitro AN515-42-R2VK . And it performance drops drastically when it's unplugged. When I turn the laptop on while charging it works perfect, but as soon as I unplug CPU Clock dropps from 3000to 399 Mhz . After plugging in again the performance doesn't rise back.The laptop runs on Windows 10

      Have you already set up the battery in the power options?

      The bios of your model is also not present on the Acer website! Make sure to update the bios to the latest version if it solves the problem! You'll also check if updating the drivers if it solves the problem!

      Thank you for a quick response. Idid what you suggested, it didn't help. Actually, it got even worse because now it's 399 Mhz even when plugged. 
      Maybe you are right and bios is the problem. Unfortunately, it is beyond my field of knowledge. I just hoped that I might have missed some tick to put but it looks like I didn't.

      Put the processor at 100% in both minimum performance and maximum performance, on the battery and on the power adapter!

      I already did all that, doesn't help. Can it be related to Windows 10? Drivers are updated, I am using the laptop for about a month...

      I did it! It worked! I updated bios. Now it's 3300 when plugged and 1500 when unplugged. Thank you!
