m.2 ssd on my acer(Acer Aspire A515-51G-30G2)

Hello There,
I have recently bought Acer Aspire A515-51G-30G2 laptop and would like to install m.2 ssd, can i install this ssd XPG SX6000 Pro PCIe Gen3x4 m.2 2280 Solid State Drive?

    This model accepts ssd m2 2280 both sata 3 and nvme gen3x2! It should work yes. However it will work halfway through its speed!

    So if the full speed is 2100mb/s read, and 1500mb/s write, it will be half, like 1000mb/s read and 750mb/s write?

    If I were buying a M.2 SSD for your laptop, I'd get the Intel 660p.  It has a nice price  :)

    I think something about this http://www.xpg.com/us/feature/580, what's your opinion? A little bit lower price.

    I don't have any experience with XPG/adata products so I'm sorry but I can't give you an opinion.  I don't see any reason why it wouldn't work though.

    Sorry hijacking your topic, but what phillips screwdriver u used to remove the M2 screw?? I got two precision sets with PH000 and cant fit :/

    I'm thinking it's Phillips #1 but don't remember for sure.

    Also, technically you're not supposed to use a magnetic tip screwdriver for obvious reasons.  At least that's what Micron/Crucial says.  Sometimes that's easier said than done.
