What's the maximum RAM capacity for the Acer Aspire E 15 (E5-576G-81GD)? Should I only add an additional 8GB RAM to total 16GB system RAM?

You can upgrade up to 32GB but 16GB is more than enough.

Acer told me the voltage was 1.x and 1.x and I RUN 1.35v which the 8Gb it shipped with was 1.35v as well.

It comes with 1 slot of 8gb or two of 4gb? I thought that only could be DDR4, because of the processor.

According to my findings it will only accept up to 16GB RAM, DDR3, 1600Mhz that's for the Intel Core i7 Model E5-576G-81GD. I already had one 8GB stick in it, so I just bought another 8GB stick to max out the installed RAM. According to at least one comment on the Amazon.com page the Core I5 model could use DDR4 RAM but I don't have that laptop and so can't confirm.

When I bought the RAM it wasn't available on Crucial's website which was what I preferred since they have the program that selects the correct RAM. Instead I jumped through hoops until I landed on the Kingston website since Kingston RAM was installed in it from the factory. Kingston listed my Acer laptop model number with a link that pointed to an Amazon.com seller to buy it from. Amazon.com has a pop-up for some hardware that reads "Will it fit" or something along those lines, so it helps double-confirm you're buy the correct RAM but it's nowhere near as easy or ***** proof as buying from Crucial.

Should note, that it if unsure you can remove the upgrade panel, grab a magnifying glass and look at the RAM already installed - that will tell you the specifications you need.
