How do I turn on my integrated web cam

I have a Acer Aspire Z5600/Z5610

This is the message that shows up: No Webcam detected. Try plugging in a webcam into your computer now. If you are using an intergrated camera make sure it is switched on.

please Help! Thanks

Most of the Acer Z series All-in-Ones ship with at least some primitive "freeware" webcam support software.  My Z3731 came with a version of YouCam.  The first thing to do is to make sure that the software which came with your computer works.  Often if you have not ever run it, the driver needed for the camera has not been installed, so some third party software which expects a camera driver to be present will fail.

A more complete description of your environment/issues will help.

Do you have any other USB devices not built into the Z5600/5610 installed?  My earlier model with a 2.0 megapixel buit in device uses the YouCam 5 software flawlessly, but I don't have another camera or device plugged in when I'm using it.  I would suggest checking out the support community for the YouCam software to see if it is an installation or configuration issue or if your verion of their software needs an update/patch.
