Does anyone know if it is possible to change backlit keyboard settings on  a nitro 5? When not on charge cord keyboard lights shut off every 60 seconds. It is driving me crazy! There must be a way to change this. Does anyone know?

Search for windows mobility center if you can find keyboard settings there, you can adjust the backlight timeout otherwise you can't just as in my case.

    Hope that helped you.

Dell has their own software which adds further options in windows mobility center such as keyboard backlight and as far as i know there is no such software or utility by acer.
    Hope that helped you.

Good news guys. They finally fixed it. Atleast for my Nitro 5 they fixed it. Just go to https://www.acer.com/ac/en/IN/content/support type in your notebook model number and download the latest BIOS (V1.13 for me). After that, there should be an option called "Keyboard Backlight Timeout" in your BIOS settings which should be enabled by default. Disable it and save settings. And you should be good to go. Thank me later.

If you haven't done so already contact Acer support for your region. This is NOT an official Acer support page, this is a community of users just like you

Only some models of nitro5 have that option, what model do you have?
