Hi,
I think both are compatible with A615-51G, you can either use a NVMe M.2 SSD or a M.2 SATA SSD.

Technician came to my house with the issue of thermal throttling. He opened up the laptop, A615-51G. As he opened it, I took a picture real quick. Attaching below.
Also, I found this online. The first one is both M and B type of SSD. The second one is only M type. Our laptop only supports M type SSD as far as I can tell so both these SSDs should work. I also confirmed it with customer care, although they couldn't tell me the size of the SSD to attach. However, it looks like it can take any general cases.
Also there are a bunch of stuff here: https://www.dell.com/support/article/in/en/indhs1/sln301626/how-to-distinguish-the-differences-between-m-2-cards?lang=en
