Hi,
Just taken delivery of my brand new Spin 11 (2018), still playing around with it.

Just wondering about the charger and cable that comes with it, it's a bit bulky and a pain to carry around.

Does anybody know or use a normal type C charger that will actually charge the chromeChro whenwits being usedu?   For example I have plugged in my normal quick charger for my Samsung tablet and a pop up on screen states I'm using a low powered charger and it may not charge when the Chromebook is on or being used, however it is charging it when not being used.

I'd rather carry a smaller type C charger around with me if I can, I'm not that fussed about fast charging, as long as it charges.

Any recommendations and is using a normal type C charger safe to use ?

Thanks for any advice.

Bobby

You can connect the USB - C charger to charge your laptop but the time taken to charger your laptop will be high.
So we would request you to use the Charger which came along with the unit for quick charge.
    Power adapter:
    USB Type-C 45 W Google PD AC adapter:
    94 (W) x 43 (D) x 27.2 (H) mm (3.70 x 1.69 x 1.07 inches)
    5 V / 3 A or 9 V / 3 A or 12 V / 3 A or 20 V / 2.25 A as output power
    200 g with 150 cm DC cable
