My frames keep dropping

I have a Predator Helios 300 this is my 2nd week using it give or take and when I started gaming I was noticing it ran smoothly then 30 min later the frames would go from 60 fps to 5 making the game unplayable for those few seconds and I'd just get frustrated because I'd die and die. I was wondering if there was something I could do to make the frames stop dropping I've tried everything I know but I'm not a crazy tech wiz so I have no idea what to do next the random frame drops don't only happen to one game it happens to mostly all the games I play to list a few: Destiny 2, Shadow of Mordor, and Bioshock 2. What I've began to realize is the frames usually only drop when I plug in my charger and for some reason when I plug in my charger the frames and the entire game play is really smooth and crisp to play for like 30 min or so until the frames drop and I have to literally wait until the frames get back up to actually play the game it gets bad but online multiplayer games are worse I was wondering if anyone had any way I could resolve this problem the random frame drops only happen during gaming

Your charge must be plugged in, the battery near 100%  charged and your power plan set to maximum or high performance BEFORE you start heavy gaming load?  How many watts output is your charger? Jack E/NJ

Hey , had the same issue.
after contacting with Acer , they recommended to update the bios to the latest (1.22 At that moment)
    it fixed it for me.

the 1.22 is still far from perfect but it is indeed much better.

SoulofChaotic The power or wattage output of the charger should be shown on the charger label. Do NOT mess with the BIOS firmware. It is a last resort when all other measures fail due to the risk of bricking or undesireable side effects on other functions. Jack E/NJ

I see nothing. It should be something like 135w or 180w or something similar. w means watt. Watt is a unit of power? What does the charger label as far as how many watts output? Jack E/NJ

The power P in watts (W) is equal to the voltage V in volts (V), times the current I in amps (A):

    P(W) = V(V) × I(A)

So you have the most powerful adapter recommended for the H300 now it's just a case you get a voltmeter as check its it's outputting the correct voltage on the sticker or if its faulty

That sounds normal. Your charger must be plugged in and the battery near 100% charged before heavy gaming. It can't be done on battery alone. The balanced plan may in fact help keep things more stable than hi or max performance. Jack E/NJ
