Backlight automatically turns off after 30s on BIOS update 1.22(PH315-51-77N0)

I'm also encountering this problem with this discussion: https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/comment/627624#Comment_627624
Apparently, updating the BIOS to 1.22 (from 1.19) automatically shuts off red backlight after 30s, which SHOULD NEVER HAPPEN before in Acer Helios 300. Kindly confirm if this is a bug from Acer and if a new BIOS fixing this issue is on the way. Thanks.

    I have the same issue with the predator PH315-51 as well. It's most likely a bug with the BIOS which I hope they intend to fix.

    Either that or it's an intended feature but I doubt that.

    keyboard backlight control is very important issue for many users. Acer should immediately and promptly look into this matter and develop / release an app for KB backlight control.
