Backlite is turn off automatically (Acer Predator Helios 300 )

Hey my backlite is now turn off automatically
 on the power plug...
Please help to fix the issue...

    Hi all,

    I have been informed that the backlight functionality for On Battery Power or AC Adapter Power has been change to do the same (always turn off 30 seconds after the last key stroke), i understand that their's been reports and comments in the community that you're not happy with this update and therefore we are forwarding this message to our design/engineering team for feedback.

    Hi,
    Could you please post the actual model name, like ANx-xxx, it's a power saving feature for most of the laptops, there are no settings to make it stay switched on.

    This is not the nitro device, This is a predator. And my backlight was always turn on during power source was connected, but after the latest bios update it is turn off after 30 sec. I Still why backlight is the turn off during power source connected???

    OK! It is not normal for the keyboard to turn off when the notebook is plugged into the power adapter! I suggest you enter the bios and then click on load setup defaults to fix any bug that has remained during the update!

    Hi,
    You could try reinstalling Acer Quick Access application, download from Acer support site, then uninstall the current installation in Control panel, Programs, install the downloaded application and see whether it helps.

    It can post the partnumber, but only the first 10 numbers!

    Did The same sir, Still same issue...
    After install https://global-download.acer.com/GDFiles/BIOS/BIOS/BIOS_Acer_1.22_A_A.zip?acerid=636807829829733833&Step1=NOTEBOOK&Step2=PREDATOR&Step3=PREDATOR PH315-51&OS=ALL&LC=en&BC=ACER&SC=EMEA_27 start giving this issue...

    And this update installed from Windows Updater. So it automatically installed...

    Ok i got it now i was just wondering because everytime someone posts a serial number it will get amended  by a mod and i thought i read somewhere that serial numbers were not allowed that's why i stated it

    Same here, after bios update 1.22. 
    backlight turn off after 30 sec while plugged :/

    @Subinsmani I do not recommend the downgrade! The predator helios will still receive some newer versions of bios! The ideal would be to wait for Acer to release a new version of bios fixing this problem!

    U have all to stay with the same bios until ACER releases the next bios upgrade version with the fix due to the amount of users reporting the same issue im sure it won't take long now

    Yeah, I suggest you enter the bios and then click on load setup defaults to fix any bug...
