Does anyone know of a video or have a how to guide on how to add more RAM to the Acer 500 Predator (Ryzen edition). I am looking on how to add two more sticks to the two already installed.

i am not really sure because i don't own one but as far as i had seen 2 of the slots are of easy access from the outside but the other 2 are internal you would have to disassemble the main chassis to access the 2 internal slots my question is the memory you currently have are in the 2 internal slots or in the external ones if yougive it a check you will find out if you need to disassemble it or not hope this helps

Yeah the two that are easily accessible are already occupied. I was hoping for some screenshots on how to get to the other two.

you have to disassemble it the other 2 slots under the chassis in the mobo but check if you don't have any warranty seals in any screw or you will loose the warranty if u open it if you don't have any you can open it the predators are really easy to open u just need to gave in hand a simple mobile phone repair kit with a small pry tool and that's it just use the pry tool to release the chassis gently after getting all screws out

I know some of the users here have access to the full maintenance manual and would love to see how it actually opens before I start prying on plastic parts. I understand where the slots are just not what all needs to come off before I remove the main board.

The manual is take al screws out and remove the back with pry tool that's it it's the same manual for all laptops except as i said the predator are the easiest laptops to open i had ever seen in my life (and i opened/fixed loads of laptops of many brands) even a 5 yr old could do it this is how easy it is

Yeah I agree opening the back to access the back two dims is very easy, I need to get to the two under the motherboard which are under the keyboard.

@Red-Sand as i don't own this model (i wish hopefully one day i will :) ) could u give some insights how to access the 2 slots under the keyboard i'm not sure if the keyboard comes out easy to access it or if the mobo has to be disassembled and flipped over to access those 2 slots i did some search but didn't found anything useful enough :)

Bump hopefully some of you with access to the repair guide can help out. Again this is why Acer should make these public.
