I added a crucial m.2 2280 250gig ssd. All is well that's my boot drive & using the Toshiba 1 terabyte that came with it for storage. However I would like to replace the hdd with a 1 terabyte ssd sata. Is this machine able to run 2 ssds & if so what is the max size of the ssd?

When we check the Hardware of the unit we dont see a space where you can put a 2 SSD. You can put one HDD and a SSD

    Storage
    Card reader:
    Supports Secure Digital™ (SD) Card v1.0 / v1.1 / v2.0 / v3.0 UHS-I
    Supports SDHC / SDXC /MSXC
32GB maximum capacity (for SDHC only) / 2TB maximum capacity (for SDXC & MSXC only)
    Hard disk drive:
    500 GB / 1 TB / 2 TB 2.5-inch 5400 RPM
    Solid state drive:
    128 GB / 256 GB

    Hi,
The maximum size of M2 would be 256GB SSD.
    Capacity (GB)
    128GB  and 256GB
    Features
     e-NAND system specification, compliant with V5.0
     Dual data rate: up to 400Mbyte/s @ 200MHz

Thanks for quick reply & the additional info on the sd cards. That's good stuff to know. So, if I wanted to replace my 250 gig m.2 with a 512gig m.2 would it work or is 256 the largest size drive that's compatible?

Strange... I found a SSD of 512GB for the E5-575 series:
    KN.5120L.009- FLASH DISK.SSD.NAND.512GB.M2.2280
    France

Laurent_14 I saw where some people were putting 275gig crucial mx300 in the m.2 with no problems. Maybe I should contact Acer & find out. If I do I'll be sure to post the answer on here for anyone else looking for this info.
