In regards to a Acer Aspire TC-885-ACCFLi5 Desktop PC. I need to access the M.2 port which is not easily found on this PC. Where is it located and what is the best way to get to it with the least amount of part removal and effort.
Is there any instructions or video's that would help in this procedure? Does the Front cover have to be removed and if so how do you do it?    Thank you for any info you may provide.

The M.2 slot is hiding under the HDD bays. You have to remove the ODD (one screw and the cables), then pop off the front bezel, then remove five screws (four from the front, one from the side) and cables to get the drive cage out. You will need a mounting screw for the M.2 drive.

Would You happen to know what the Size of the mounting screw is for the M.2 to secure an ssd in place. That way I can go to the hardware store to pick up? I saw a comment in regards to another Aspire PC
of a size 0.4x3mm  but I do not know if that applies to the motherboard used in the Acer Aspire TC-885-ACCFLi5 Desktop PC.

    Hi

can either the original poster or commenter that answered confirm if a stand-off is necessary to install m.2 drive in this particular computer or is one already there? I will be adding a Samsung m.2 drive to motherboard but computer is on its way and I’d like to be prepared.

    thanks
