So usually when I play Fortnite, I get about 150-200 fps on my Acer Helios 300 when plugged in, but now it's at 80 and it drops sometimes, I just realized why and its because when I plug it in it doesn't increase performance. I know why because when I unplug and plug it in the fps are the same, and the charger works, I hear the plugin noise. Are there any solutions?

Is your battery fully charged when on a/c it is advisable to start gaming with the battery fully charged or thew charger will be using power to charge the battery and also at the same time for the game you are playing it wont have enough juice for both because the battery instead of helping to boost power if needed it's getting charged doesn't mean that this is what is happening this is just what could happen

My laptop is at 100% and I don't understand what's going on, it's charging atm and when I try to reset my pc it doesn't.

Check your Windows power plan and make sure CPU and GPU are set to 100% maximum.

I don't know how to do my Gpu but I set my cpu to 100, my fps is still low.

Did u by any chance updated to the latest nvidia driver if so there is you issue downgrade to a previous version if that is the case also bare in mind that fortnite it's a really crappy bad optimized game due to his really poor optimization by devs they didn't care so much to get it optimized so everyone has serious issues with it and pubg it's the same  its one of those games i will never waste any of my time with it unless they fix it properly in future

This will only kill them faster. Windows can scale up n down as needed.

Even though these methods didn't work (not in a bad way) I found an alternative but thanks for the help!

Ok this was about a year ago so sorry if it doesn’t help but last thing I remember was that I had a setting that would prevent your fan speed increase to prevent noise. Sorry I forgot but try to look for a setting for geforce that basically makes your fan quiet, (making your fps drop)

Just viewed, go to GeForce experience, settings, games, then disable whisper mode, and also put the slider to the right side, changing 30 to 60 fps
