I bought this model and opening it I saw that there is space for another 2.5 "SSD but there is no cable for the connection.
Buying the cable with the right replacement code you can add another ssd? for 2.5" ?
Another thing, my mounts a nvidia MX150 on pci-e .. replacing the main ssd (SATA) with another ssd but pci-e I get benefits? It's possible?

Third and last question (I swear), I noticed that there is a welded ram slot, and a slot already occupied with a Micron sodimm. Is it possible to expand it? how does it work after with the dual channel?

Thank you!!!!

    Hi.

Your equipment supports these technical features, it has soldered ram memory and a modifiable chip, you can also install two hard drives, with the mentioned configurations, if you want to install an M2 you can install a Pcie key M or intel optane.

    System Memory
    DDR4 SDRAM support
4 GB of single-channel, onboard DDR4 system memory
Up to 8 GB DDR4 system memory, upgradable of 12 GB of dual-channel DDR4 system memory using a single soDIMM module.

    Thanks fo your reply!

So, is it possible to replace the standard SATA SSD with another PCI-E, without problems? Without interfering with the Pci-e lines already used by the MX150 and the WiFi card?

And, as a second HDD, I would mount a SATA model like Samsung 860Evo, or MX500 crucial. But for that you need the bracket and the appropriate cable?

Also, onboard is soldered 4Gb of RAM. If I add a 8Gb Module (Total 12GB), it Go egually in Dual channel Mode? Thanks!!!

That's right, in order not to saturate the PCIe channel, you must comply with the indications recommended by ACER, so you will not have problems when working with the computer.

You get two channels, even if you are a soldier, so that this works in double channel, you must respect the soldered chip, both CAS latency, voltage and Mhz, if these conditions are not even, you will work in a single channel.
