I was working on my Aspire during many hours. I sorted some messages in Lotus Notes when it stopped working. I launched it again and I saw blue screen of death. From third time I could launch it, but most of my letter in Lotus disappeared. Now I have to fix lotus notes data, I need to get my messages back.

What is the full model number of your device?

Please perform a simple power reset. Disconnect the charger. Please check for a battery reset PIN hole at the bottom of the device. The reset hole would have a battery symbol next to it. Insert a paperclip into the hole and press for four seconds. Let the computer sit for 5 minutes with no power. Reconnect the charger and checke the issue.

You can monitor your computer’s temperatures to check the overheating issues. You can use tools like HWMonitor if you want to check the temperature of your CPU & graphics cards. Every CPU is different, but generally, if the temperature is getting to 90 degrees Celsius or higher, you’re probably experiencing an abnormal amount of heat.

The foremost aspect to be considered in the scenario of computer overheat is that are the drivers updated. You can go to their settings, to the Window Updates section, and then check for these updates. It is also necessary that you install the correct drivers for Windows 10 to avoid computer overheat. Incompatible hardware programs are also one of the major reasons that cause the problem of computer overheat. Proper ventilation for your CPU is also necessary to avoid this problem.

It sounds like the crash left the hard disk corrupted. Depending on how extensive the corruption is it might be recoverable. Start with a 'chkdsk /f' on the partition. Use an administrator command prompt and expect that it will want to reboot. If it is successful with the chkdsk and the Lotus files are still corrupted you will have to contact the Lotus people to see if they have additional tools for repair.
