Had no issues connecting to my home's wi-fi until I recently reformatted my laptop due to it being sluggish. Currently running Windows 10.

When I click on "Show available networks" on the Network & Internet settings page nothing happens.

I have tried to disable and enable the wi-fi on the Network Connections screen. No luck.

I have tried the Windows Network Diagnostics.

I have tried the Diagnostics Troubleshooting Wizard and it stopped working while running

And have tried uninstalling the driver. Oh and Airplane mode is not on :)

Don't know what else to do to try and resolve this.

Check when you shutdown the unit, is it asking you to update and shut down. If yes try to update. If it dont say update than try the below step

power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the u nit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart

    Have you done this?

Thanks for the help guys, unfortunately it wasn't just the wi-fi. Windows 10 was completely corrupt and the recovery drive was as well. Thankfully my husband is pretty tech savy and was able to fix it.
