I bought this laptop around a year ago and I found that the 256GB SSD wasn't enough storage so I want to add a HDD but there was no cable nor the bracket.... What specific parts do I need and where can I buy them?
I can't find anything online...

Hi,
I would suggest you to buy the cable and use some soft material to hold the HDD in place in the bay, if you like, if you don't want to do that, the required part numbers are in this thread:https://community.acer.com/en/discussion/544475/a515-51g-59qf-hdd-cable-missing

There is also the option of making your own caddy with aluminum flashing. Create a template with a piece of paper. Use heavy kitchen shears or tin snip to cut out the aluminum form. Make the screw holes with a drill or a punch. Just buy the 8 screws & cable.0

As you are in Canada, you're in luck. See this request form. The kit used to be free. There is a link on the request form to speak with Acer in the U.S. about details.0
