Predator PH517-51 cant disable usb charging without fast boot on

Hi, i wanted to disable charging through USB (because i have plugged there mouse with rgb lights) and when its on mouse is powered up non stop.
Problem is when i disable it (using acer quick acess) i need to use windows 10 fast boot, otherwise USB port is still powered, non-stop.

Is there a way to disable BOTH USB charging and fast boot?

    How do you know you need fast boot enabled?
    Perhaps you can modify Acer Quick Access's registry when fastboot is disabled.

    Try this as @Red-Sand colleague said: press windows + r and type regedit; go to this computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\OEM\Quick Access and in usbcharger, put 0
    No need to disable fastboot!

    In the program Acer quick access gives to disable the loading by the usb port!
    To disable fast boot, you must go to the power options:

    Thanks mate, but i did exactly this, problem is usb charging is working non-stop when i turn off windows 10 fast boot :/
    That why im asking if there is a way to disable fast boot but still have usb charging turned off.

    Bro, the new Windows update caused all sorts of issues on all my systems.

    Gotta love Windows...
    I recently updated to 1803 (like literally yesterday because i had game releated problem and decided to try if it will be fixed by updating to 1803 and funnily enough EVERYTHING works fine, literally every problem i had with 1803 before is not existing anymore, so after 4 months after 1803 release it is stable at least lol
    Got to thank all these people who dont disable windows updates and are free beta-testers for us lol

    On the other hand, my friends laptop dont have windows auto-updates disabled and month ago it automatically updated, deleting ALL files in the process - 1 week of work went down the drain, thank you microsoft xD

    Thats said, helios 300 uses both crappy intel gpu and nvidia one and intel gpu is known for causing many kinds of issues in windows 10.


    Btw. while i understand why you paid for pro version, i prefer to spend 30 minutes on home version, tweaking it and turning off updates permanently for free anyway.
    Microsoft dont deserve my money, automatic updates are some kind of ransom anyway.

    I don't think his intent was "hate speech".
    Merely that gpedit and other "Pro" features can be added and services tweaked to gain the same results as if purchasing Win10 Pro.

    It is much easier to just purchase the Pro version then to dig into the know-how in order to tweak Home the same way.

    I do however agree with him that having to pay the amount they require for the upgrade is a bit steep for tweaks that can be done yourself.

    If you look back a few years, MS shed over 14,000 (yes, fourteen thousand) from the testing side to save on millions. And who are their new testers now, outside of insiders who opted in... the home version users... these hapless folks either fork out to upgrade to pro or become the scapegoat of all these feature updates. By the way, the upgrade is technically not optional - something is optional only if you can defer it indefinitely. In this case it is not; the max you can defer is 365 days.

    All works fine as before on my G3-572 and i upgraded the windows the day it was released (even wh loads of ppl said that their files were deleted and loads more issues that took MS to pull it back) mine works fine and with the dark skin :)

    Ps: i upgraded my key to pro as soon as i got it lol

    Actually home edition is totally free and even if they beta test new updates on home (free edition) is not a crime tho as you get it for $0 in return.     tweaking = stealing because they didn't offer it for free and you unlocked it to have it for free which is illegal and unethical. don't you think so? but anyways without updates the tweaks you make doesn't make you get full security, performance, features and make you stuck and paralyzed. I think if MS that bad then it is better not to use their products but don't expect they giving their years and years of hard work for free and same goes for other companies.
