I see they released a new AMD radeon graphic driver for the AN515-42 this month. Just installed it, but the Radeon control center is missing. Kind of need this to adjust my settings, not to mention use switchable graphics. Help, as always, is appreciated.

Thanks

    Things I have tried:

    1) AMD uninstall utility
    2) Driver sweeper
    3) Installing, uninstalling, re-installing, rinse, wash, repeat
    4) Found a file called ccc2 which appeared to be it, but error stated not compatible with current version, install new version (which I thought I did).

Also, I see AMD changed their web site. Where the heck is the auto-detect utility to download?

You can use windows shitchable graphics. Settings -> System -> Display -> Graphics settings at the bottom

Please try this simple step , might resolve the issue

power drain: Just check the back of the unit, you can find a pin hole , unplug the charger and turn off the unit. now put a paper clip in the small pin hole and press and hold it for 30 sec.
BIOS default: After power drain is done, power on the u nit, but as soon as you power on the unit keep pressing the F2 key so that it take you to BIOS page. Press F9 and press Enter than press F10 and press Enter. the unit will restart

I also tried to install the new driver. I did clean install of new driver, and it did recognize Vega 8 and 560x. But no Radeon settings.
Tried to run some games, it did switch to dGPU for some, but was stuck on iGPU for others.
Fortunately, I had old drivers, so I reverted back to older version.
Did you find any way to update it? By also keeping the Radeon settings.

Negative. Regressed to the previous driver. Might need level II tech support to escalate, because it seems we have a driver problem.
