    That means the problem is likely with the back light for the display. Are you still within warranty? If so then contact Acer support and they'll fix it for you. If not then the best bet is to take it a technician that can replace that for you. The display and backlight are all one part so the backlight can't be replaced by itself. Here's the suggested diagnosis procedure, the first two are most likely to help, the last three are just replacing the component:
    • Enter BIOS Utility to execute “Load Setup Default Settings”, then reboot system.
    • Reconnect the LCD connectors.
    • Keyboard (if contrast and brightness function key doesn't work).
    • LCD cable
    • LCD
    • System board

    OK! Now exit the bios and then enter windows and disable fast startup in the power options:

    Then turn off the notebook and unplug it from power! Press the battery reset button for five seconds and leave the notebook off for five minutes and test:

    Im at the power options and it does not show what you sent me. All i see is choose or customize a power plan and at below that it says my RPC server is unavailable.

    Even when in safe mode, the brightness of the screen was not supposed to be dark! There is some hardware problem as reported by @billsey, because the problem also manifests itself in bios! If it was just a driver problem, the image would appear normal in bios! Is your notebook still under warranty?

    Is it better if i send it in to a repair man? Or to someone from acer?

    I got the computer in 2016 so I'm sure the warranty did expire a while back.
  • So I recommend you bring a service center so the technician can fix the notebook!

    Connect your television to your Cloudbook & power both up.  If the output is normal on the TV screen, this will confirm that the backlight is out & that the screen needs replacing.  Screen replacement is not difficult as shown in the video below, but gentleness is required.  If you are uncomfortable doing it yourself, then it is a matter whether the hometown technician or the local Acer Center can give you the better price.
