Hi guys,
I have just upgrade my ram yesterday to 32gb and since i have already open it up i went ahead and re-paste the GPU and CPU with Conductronaut, Well i was afraid at first but i am a mechanic and open up laptop was fairly easy for me(13 screws on the cover, 3 screws on the aluminum plate, 4 screws on both fans, and 6 screws on heatsink) and after i have done it, Ran the cpu stress test with -140mv on xtu and prime95 at full load my laptop never go over 70 degrees, However d/t my job that need to be traveling a lot i am afraid the conductronaut could leak out during that time, Just wanna ask whether i should change it to Kryonaut instead?

If have already repasted with conductonaut, there is no point repasting it again with kryonaut. There is no chance the thermal paste to leak out.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

I've done the exact same thing with mine and I travel with it as well.  Although I couldn't quite reach - 140mv I was limited to 130.  With a room temp of 70F  I'm hovering hovering around 70C with the back of the laptop propped up on a bottle cap playing destiny 2 on max with GPU overclocked.  With out proping up the back I might hit 75C.  Repasting was the best thing I ever did it's like a whole new machine.  For anybody reading this and you attempt this if you turn the computer back on without reconnecting the touch pad the driver does something weird.  This has happened to me on two devices.  You have to uninstall the driver in Windows and reboot it should fix it self at that point, you may have to tell device manager to search for new hardware.  I've never had an issue with conductonout except after about a year I start to notice the temps gradually creep up and then I have to repaste.  For that reason I've thought about going to the krynout as well.  I have another computer at home that currently has conductonout I'll repaste with krynout and see what the temp differences are.  I might would swap over if I only lost 5C or so.  Please excise spelling and grammar I'm typing this between redlights very quickly.

Hi, may I ask how to remove the thermal module? I wanna paste Kryonaut in my cpu and gpu, but I don't know how to remove the fans...

acer tech opened and repasted it mine 3 days ago... open a triton 700 (may invalidate the warranty because all the black stickers from fan to heatsink will be visibly different from factory) it's quite simple:

remove all the screws from the bottom, flip it, gently raise the keyboard (there is no clip.. just the screws u removed from the bottom holding it) there are 2 cables from keyboad to motherboard, unplug those cables and u can lift and remove all the trackpad-keyboard frame.. unplug the battery cable
unscrew the fans (2 or 3 each if i remember correctly.. and unplug cables), gently detach the tape of the fan from the heatsink side, remove the 2 yellow tape stripes (are those 2 for safety avoiding shorts from wifi card and other components to the keyboard frame)  than remove screws of the black heatshield from cpu/gpu.. than losen up the screws from cpu gpu coolers in reverse order (check numbers on it).. gently pull all the heatsing-cooler (it's 1 piece only) from both side simultaneously without bending the heatpipes..

now u have to clean all the paste, repast and do it again in reverse order... acer tech bring with him some mx-4, i've asked him if he could use mine kryonauts.. he agreed.. than -7 / -8 degree from both cpu -gpu while playing... combined stresstest was 92cpu 87 gpu before repaste, now 86- 81 after 30mins, no ac 25 ambient temp, no cooling stand or raising it from the table...

i actually left the fans taped to the heat sinks when I did mine and removed it as a complete unit.

Anyone notice that the system is using two right side fans just one up side down? Odd most laptops I've taken apart use a left and a right so that the large open area is on the bottom vent grills. Not sure if it actually pulls in more air or not.

those are my temps with ambient 25c, no ac room, no cooling stand, not raised from the table and no downvolt after repasted with kryonauts

it remain stable bouncing from 62-65, for my case kryonauts lower my temps of cpu at full load about -8/-9 degree from

that may explain why they put a vent grill on the upper side for the right one...

I changed the thermoconductive paste in my triton. After assembly, the touchpad drivers and the fan light did not work. In the device manager, I uninstalled the unknown device and the touchpad was fixed, but the fan light does not work. Has anyone had a similar problem?

Oh ***** that sucks. It is hard to notice that it's even there. I guess if it really bothers you acer should be able to send you a replacement I doubt that they're that expensive.
