I have Acer CoolBoost on with fan speeds on max but sometimes the fans go really low when im gaming for example (6006 rpm - 4700 rpm) which results into thermal throttling for my laptop to stay safe and *****, i need to know if theres a way to control fan speeds? ; i have tried eveything from HwINFO to SpeedFan and NotebookFancontrol.I'm done with this BS and i want to know a fix so i can game again and stuff

Have you tried using the short cut for maximum fan speed? You can also manually set the fans to always run at wide open by going into the PredatorSense program and opening the "Gaming Configuration" (a little gear in the top right) tab.

The other option is to change the battery plan to a custom one, its called CyberLinkPowerManagement

Undervolt to 135 core voltage offset and it would result into 30 degrees celsius drop but it will only stay like that on battery with charger not plugged.
if plugged the temp goes higher, now trying playing games on battery and it should do a really good job at keeping it cool and avoiding thermal throttling

Demanding games weren't made to be played on battery, demanding games are meant to be played on ac+battery as they demand most of the times more wattage than the ac can provide by itself and overall gaming laptops were made to play on ac not battery the battery its just basically to help the ac to cope with it and my fans go to 6100rpm on max

No solution to the problem yet. The notebook still running at 4600 rpm max. In another thread I read that there are some drivers for thermal control(management). Unfortunately, there is no link to it and I did not find anywhere in the acer web site. Can someone help?

The reason why this happens is because of power deficiency from what I have observed on my device(GX-792). The higher the temperature of the CPU the more power it draws, of course that is before it begins to throttle and it happens before it hits the temp limit. It seems the way that the system is wired is to give prioritise CPU power over fans or I could be wrong and it could just be some kind of bug in the fan curve software or BIOS. Even after the CPU has cooled down the fans won't ramp up back to the higher RPM, unless you restart the system. To lower down the temps you can try undervolting the CPU(it is harmless to the system).
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.
