Can you open settings > click on apps and check anything that says about Acer Care Center. Also, do check if anything being displayed under default apps section on the left pane.Click on 'Yes' to accept my comment as answer1 -

Acer care center can be installed in any acer devices which were shipped with Windows 8 or higher version of operating system. You can download and install this acer care center from the below link.

If you want to kill this process from the background then open task manager > go to processes and check for acer care center > make a right click on it and click on end process. this would end the process until time being but its not permanent.navyact said:don't list

If you want to disable this feature during boot open task manager > go to start up apps and check for acer care center and disable it
You can also try the same by accessing system configuration utility screen > Press and hold windows + R > Type MSCONFIG and go to services > uncheck acer care center service then click on apply and OK if it asks to restart the unit please do.Click on 'Yes' to accept my comment as answer0 -
