Acer Swift 3 - Can't get new audio driver?

I've had this issue with the Swift for a while where the audio randomly goes all staticky, and I have to restart it to get it back to normal. I thought it might be my audio driver, so I went to acer.com to download an audio driver. However after downloading, when I try to unzip the file, my computer first says that the file may be dangerous. If I go through with it anyway, at some point during unzipping, it gets stuck on a file and says the path is too long? I've tried downloading and unzipping this file like three times, once from another website. Each time I have the same problem. I didn't lose connection during any of those downloads, so there shouldn't be anything wrong with the downloads themselves. And on top of all that, now my audio driver isn't working at all (according to online videos and music on my computer). Does anyone know what I can do to fix this?

For the time being the crackle is gone. I noticed it briefly with one pair of headphones, but after switching them out for another I haven't heard it since. I tend to get it more often in the current pair though, so I'll keep an eye on that.

I've bookmarked the link you gave me and will keep this thread open in case I need to update you. Thanks for the help!

Well, IDK how to delete this, but after a couple more tries troubleshooting it let me run the sound tests (first time I tried clicking yes but it skipped anyway) and after I said I couldn't hear anything it eventually made me restart to reinstall the driver. Unsure if my staticky/crackling audio problem has gone away as of yet, so if anyone has a solution for that, I'm all ears.
