A week ago I bought a Swift 3 and today I had a question and got scammed onto a fake Acer help site.  I am really worried they have done something to my computer although I have checked everything, my virus protection is happy, Malwarebytes found nothing but I tried to get help on the proper Acer site and they are saying my computer is no longer covered by warranty which is ridiculous. What can I do?

Please check if you have reached the Acer support of your region listed in the below weblink.
    http://www.acer.com/worldwide/support/
If you still unable to contact support to update the warranty information. You can also send a private message to Acer-Manny with the serial / SNID number of your device so that the concerned team can check  and help you address your concerns. https://community.acer.com/en/messages/add/Acer-Manny

Thanks Sharanji, that's cracked it. I had wondered but had been unable to find a specific UK one.

    Hi @JulesA44,

Nothing to worry. disconnect from the internet so that they cant have the access to your unit if you have provided the remote access. just do a reset on the unit. contact the acer and say that you want to update the proof of purchase they will send you a link to attach the purchase proof. everything will be right in track. if your looking for UK contact info try the link below. Good Luck.
