Hello! I've got a Nitro 5 with a I7 8750 and a 1050ti. When it's unplugged and I'm just using Chrome it's pretty silent and runs in the 50's C. When I plug it in it INSTANTLY jumps up to the 80 degree mark. Then I unplug it and it INSTANTLY drops down to the mid 50s. I'm not changing what I'm doing or anything. Anyone else experience this, or know whats up? It's set to the high performance profile for both.

Please try connecting a different charger and check . If the unit working fine with the other charger than you need to replace the charger.

Open Control Panel. Search power. Click choose power plan. If set to high or max performance, select balanced plan instead. Re-boot to take effect. Jack E/NJ
