Hi guys, yesterday i was trying to update my bios from 1.13 to 1.19. I downloaded the .exe file from the Acer'site of my laptop predator specific model and i ran it. While i did this operation...my pc was collegated to my monitor via HDMI and the screen of laptop was closed. So when i started the .exe file, the pc starting to reset. As i said i forgotted to open the laptop screen, and on my external monitor nothing was showed. The pc did not rebooted by his-self and i had to press the power button ( i waited more than 30 min) to let it restart.

Now it saying that the Bios version is 1.19 but i'm lil afraid about somethings but i don't know why. Could i have made some damage to my laptop? Thnaks all for the answers!

What is the exact the model of notebook?
If the pc is connecting normally and is not presenting any problem! Then everything is ok! However it is recommended that you enter the bios and click on load setup defaults every time you update the bios, so that any bug of the previous version can be corrected!

jolly good, then it looks like you're good (lucky escape maybe!).  Just keep an eye on it for a week or so and if anything starts playing up, then post that and we'll go on from there.  If it ain't broke, no need to "fix" it and tempt fate.
