I have acer e5-551g and have 8gb of RAM but out of it only 6.95GB is available.
Where is 1.05 gigs of RAM ?

You could try to disable or manually start services that you think you don't need to run automatically at boot time. Press the Winkey + R and enter "services.msc". This will give you a description of many services that are running in the background. Some of them are convenience items that you could disable or set to manually start rather than automatic. Right click on the service and choose properties to change from automatic or delayed automatic start to manual or disabled. Some of these services may switch back to automatic on re-booting because Win10 needs them to boot properly. My own Switch Alpha has 8GB of ram of which 5.1GB is typically free for the way my system is setup. Jack E/NJ

System and app files that load on startup. Many can be disabled with little or no consequence. Jack E/NJ

Yep. Open Task Manager or msconfig.exe. Click on the startup tab. Then uncheck the apps that are loading on boot startup that you think might not be needed. This will release more RAM to be available for other apps. But a certain amount of RAM will always be required by the Win10 system to keep it happy. Jack E/NJ

I have already closed the startup apps.
But 1.05 gb is too much RAM to keep win 10 happy.
Other brand laptops does not have so much of reserved RAM.

Are the other brand laptops configured with all similar hardware and drivers and Win10 versions? Your company is probably using WinPro not WinHome. All this hardware need software drivers running in the background. If you start disabling drivers, certain peripherals won't run or run correctly. Are you having problems with 7GB free RAM with this particular laptop? You are almost trying to compare apples with coconuts by trying to compare your machine with other mfr machines configured differently for the company.  Jack E/NJ

Man this is no comparison of apples with cocunuts. Its comparison between 2 cocunuts only. This is not a high end type laptop which will have some of companies exclusive features and drivers. At this point of range every mfr laptop are more or less same.
My question was if I could just cut down that 1 gig of reserved memory to a little.Plz provide with solution.
    Thanks in advance.
