Spilt water on Chromebook C910 -C37P, orange light flashes when charger is plugged in. No lights when unplugged. No power, no fan. Blue light blinks once quickly when power button pressed. Tried all resets, unplugged battery. Hope someone can help.

    Hi Philv
    Plug in your chromebook.
Hold down the Esc, Refresh, and Power buttons until the charge light turns to solid red.
Leave it charging for at least 4 hours. Charge light will turn green.
Now it can be turned on

    Thanks, Tech_Man,
Held the buttons down for about 5 minutes, orange light never changed, just continued to flash. Occasionally, blue light would flicker.

Water damage is a difficult thing to diagnose. The best thing to do normally is to leave the device off for at least 24 hours, and place it in a dry, warm room. If it still refuses to turn on than that might be problem.
The longer the better, but 24 hours at an absolute minimum. The worst thing you can do is to leave it running after a spill.
Immediately unplug the Chromebook. Do not attempt to turn it on. If the water would have gone inside it might permanently damage the motherboard.
After 2 or 3 days try to turn on it should work.

    Thanks, Jack22.
It's been off for a couple of weeks. Guess the motherboard is shot.

Just try to pressing the power button few times and check if still dont work . I guess its time to send in for repair. I guess if water spill is on the unit than there are chances that the warranty might be void

UPDATE: I unplugged  battery, which was why orange light was blinking. Plugged battery and after a couple of hours, battery was fully charged. Orange light turned blue on right. Tried all steps, still no power. Pressing power button a couple times, the blue light on left blinks on but, nothing happens. Noticed black on piece that connects to fan. Not sure if that would cause no power.

Likely something in the power circuit fried when shorted by the water. A motherboard might bring it back but I don't know how cost effective that is.
