Is it the charger that's broken (plug) or the tablet (socket)?

If the connector is broken its better to get a new charger.

    Hi,
is the unit under the warranty? if so send it for a warranty repair. Yes its (tablet socket) is repairable.

The power socket is soldered to the motherboard on a b3-a40fhd tablet. That makes it fairly problematic to repair. If it's under warranty you can give Acer support a try, but there is a good chance they will determine it was damage from yanking on the charger cord rather than a manufacturing defect and want to charge you. They likely have a flat rate for the repair though and it might be less than a replacement tablet. If you have access to a good technician with surface mount soldering skills you may be able to get it repaired by them as well, keeping you motherboard intact. I wouldn't be surprised to see repair costs upward of $100 though, so be prepared...
