    Hi Somitomere,

Please do visit the following Acer support link and expand the application category to download the predator sense.
    Link: https://www.acer.com/ac/en/US/content/support-product/6964?b=1

Or visit the support link below and enter your SNID to get the application for the exact variant you are using.

  • You can go to your file explorer in C drive and search PredatorSense or Predator and it will pull up a "OEM" folder that has your original exe in it. 👍

this is the reason why I have a problem. I updated my Predator Sense from 1.00.3010 to 1.00.3012 and it does not work, hence why I'm looking for an older version.

I found it! Thank you. Unfortunately it does not work either, seems like somehow the entire software became corrupted.

    Hi @Somitomere

Looks like the following Acer support page for a different model, contains the version of Predator sense you are looking for. (i.e Version 1.00.3010)

    Link:  https://www.acer.com/ac/en/AU/content/support-product/6372?b=1

So correct me if Im wrong.. but the issue is that when you go to install the correct Predator Sense it states your model is not supported?

The version for Predator g6-710 does not work because the system is unsupported. 1.00.3010 version I found in my OEM folder does not work either. I think none of them work now. I have my motherboard replaced, I'm starting to think it is somehow connected to the  problem.

Yes what @brummyfan2 said is on point. Using a uninstalling software like he mentioned or IOBIT Uninstaller will show multiple installations of Predator Sense.

Also Id like to mention that originally these Predators had a XTU Service installed that if disabled or removed does not allow modifying/removing/installing of Predator Sense.
This is actually a good bet because a new motherboard would remove the integrated "iocbios2" from the registry that loads with the BIOs. (New BIOs chip means this would be removed)

So install intel extreme tuning utility and try again.

    https://downloadcenter.intel.com/download/24075/Intel-Extreme-Tuning-Utility-Intel-XTU-

If installing intel extreme tuning utility doesn't work right away, boot into bios (F2) and default it (F9) then save and exit (F10) to clear any old settings that may be stored.

I recommend going to Acers driver download page and grabbing Intel chipset driver, Intel AHCI driver, the "Turbo Boost" driver.

I've heard of many people fix the same issue just by downloading those drivers.

    So far I've tried:

1)Uninstalled Intel XTU (had it installed before)
    2)Restart
3)Tried PS - did not work
    4) Uninstall PS via Revo Uninstaller + delete 6 registry entries.
    5)Restart
6)Install new PS - still does not work
    7) Install Intel XTUI again
    8)Restart
    9) PS still does not work.

I've managed to solve this problem. Evidently the error was caused by wrong registry entry - my laptop was listed as "ng-g9-593-75sh" and I had to change it to "predator g9-593-75sh".

Should I use system restore to undelete those 6 registry entries I deleted using revo uninstaller?
  • Could prevent an error in the future from occuring if those registries did in fact hold something together.

Best to do it now before you get a lot of stuff installed and have to do it later.
