I recently upgraded to Windows 10 version 1803 with build 17134.228.  After the upgrade I have permanent mute on the audio.  When I run the bar up it quickly returns to zero.  I also have this annoying black widget with a vertical audio bar and X in the upper left hand corner of screen that I cannot get rid of.  Has anyone seen same issue and found a resolution?

    Fixed it.
    1) Take bottom shell off.  12 screws.
    2) Look for reset switch inside around location of battery reset hole on shell.
    3) You should find two reset switches.
    4) Press and hod both simultaneously for 10 seconds.
    5) reinstall shell.
    6) Power up and set volume as you please.

Neglected to state that the machine I upgraded is an Aspire R3-131T.
