Helios 300 factory reset - questions.

Hello.
I'd like to reset my laptop to factory settings and I have some questions:
1) Is it better to do it by using Acer Care Center or default Windows 10 tool?
2) Will it totally wipe my HDD disc and my system partition on SSD disc before installing a fresh OS?
3) Will I keep all of the Acer software like Predator Sense (and others) and drivers after factory reset?
Thanks.

    1) Using Acer Care Centre to factory reset the system will be the same as resetting it from windows 10 settings.
2)It will delete everything from the C: drive, it won't format the D: drive.
3)I have done factory reset on my device and it leaves the pre-installed software like predator sense, acer care centre, etc. Even if it doesn't, you can always download them here.
Always post the following characterisitcs of the device:
    -Model number
    -Part number(not required, but helpful)
    -CPU
    -GPU
    -Operating system

Helios 300 and Nitro 5 users DO NOT update the BIOS to version 1.22 if you don't want the keyboard's backlight to turn off after 30 seconds even when the device is plugged in.

Graphics drivers, sound drivers, etc are deleted when factory resetting windows, but then they are downloaded and installed automatically by the windows(they could be outdated, so you may have to update them manually afterwards).

Acer Care Center is only available with a pre-installed Windows operating system.  You may create a factory default recovery media as soon as possible. In certain situations a full recovery will require a USB recovery backup. This allows you to quickly and easily back up your operating system, installed apps and data.
You can use Acer Care Center to restore your computer to factory settings. This process will erase all data on the your system. It will install the factory shipped OS, all device drivers and Acer software shipped with your computer.

In my experience it's better to use Acer Care Center's recovery pendrive as many of Acers drivers are custom for their hardware.

I've also heard of some people not being able to run Predator Sense after upgrading to windows pro or using a regular windows iso recovery pendrive.

If you do decide to use a standard windows recovery pendrive you will end up using Acers Driver download page to reinstall those custom drivers (Intel ACHI, Intel VGA, Intel chipset and Realtek).

Overall the results are similar but with Acers the resetup is a bit simpler.

I used the USB drive based recovery software to restore factory software - it wiped entire hard disk, reset my MBR partitioning back to GPT, created the necessary EFI partition, and the 1 GB recovery drive too. Also it rolled back to earlier edition of windows. And loaded all necessary drivers and software.

It takes time too, since it is all an unattended process, taking about 30-60 minutes and about a dozen auto restarts.

Maybe cos it is a 32 bit program. It is installed under Program Files (x86), and not under Program Files.

Check the game folder for any logs.

Try finding the games exe file and right click > properties > disable fullscreen optimizations

@manuvarghese Try removing GE Experience. Personally I don't see a need for it, for a gamer can optimize the game himself/herself to their liking, from within the game itself.

Check in game settings... some settings are not that nice to all systems.

For e.g., enabling nvidia hair in witcher 3 pushes GPU to 95% all the time from 60% when disabled. So you could try disabling all options and enabling in smaller sets to see what is breaking your system - divide and conquer approach.

Not sure whatever that NGE is. Try going to system and restoring to earlier checkpoint.
