Laptop won't boot w/o 1 hard reset (Helios 300)

I bought an Acer Predator Helios 300 a few months back and have had no issues w/ it. In the past day, when I first boot it, it freezes at the Predator screen and won't do anything. I have to hard reset the computer then it boots right up as normal. This happens like clockwork now. I already did the battery reset and the Acer Care Center is green on all of its checks.

The Windows update did nothing and the BIOS update did nothing. Still had to boot twice to boot up laptop. Noticed that restart didn't have that issue. Did some looking on having to boot windows twice and found that disabling the Windows Fast Startup fixed the issue. Windows>Settings>Power & Sleep>Additional Power Settings>Choose What The Power Buttons Do>Uncheck Turn on fast startup (for those who need the fix) It's weird I've not encountered this issue before though. I got a BIOS update out of it though!
Thanks for the help!

Update your BIOs?
Version 1.13 works great on all models.- Hotel Hero0 -
Ahh...my Windows does have an available Cumulative Update. I'll get that done and update this thread. I do not at all understand why windows breaks itself everytime it wants to update. In my experience with a couple windows PCs now, every time the computer started wigging out or breaking for no apparent reason, it was because it needed to update.

So the cached data for hibernate/fast startup was causing this issue.
Interesting.
I'd like to add that purging this data would have also fixed the issue and allowed you to keep fast startup enabled.
Glad it got fixed brother!- Hotel Hero0 -
