My Aspire V3-772G drivers is constantly having conflicts with windows 10 update (ver 1709) that render it unusable. When are you going to update the drivers for it? the last drivers you list are from 2015.

I see there has still been no reply for several months.  I need updated intel drivers and when I try to get them from Acer, they haven't updated the drivers for this machine since 2015 (and it's 2018 now).  I tried to get them directly from intel but the install program stops the installation returning an error stating to contact the device manufacturer for updated drivers.  I was trying to fix this to give to someone and was looking to buy a new laptop for myself so I'm glad I found out that Acer doesn't provide much for support or any updated drivers.  They don't even respond to questions in this forum.  It appears they simply don't care about their customers.  I was looking at a new Acer gaming laptop but now that I know this, I will avoid this rand in the future.

The V3-772 and V3-772G is a Windows 8.1 computer that hasn't really been compatible with Windows 10 in a long time.   Most people go back to Windows 8.1 as I'm sure Windows 8.1 runs perfectly.

You can get the free vanilla Windows 8.1 from link below and install your drivers from Acer's website.   Or you can order your original factory recovery media from Acer.

I realize this is an old thread, but just in case any old V3-772g users come needing help, I'm adding this so that they can happily use Windows 10 without issue.

@JordanB I'm not sure where you get all of that information from, can verify that I still have my 5 yr old V3-772g 9653 (it's my only machine, used 24/7 until around a year ago, and now gets to sleep 6 hours a night) and have been using Windows 10 EXCLUSIVELY since the end of 2016. It does all the major updates flawlessly, the ONLY issue being that Windows feels the need the to install its really old Intel GFX driver instead of keeping the newer one that was already there. This driver does indeed cause issues, and is fixed by reinstalling the original one (or latest one from Intel).

As @DougTheCustomer wrote, trying to install the Intel GFX drivers from the .exe they provide results in a message refusing to install and suggesting getting manufacturer drivers, and Acer's Windows 10 Intel GFX driver has always been worse than the default one Microsoft installs.

This is easily fixed however, Intel also provides a .zip file. Download this and extract it.
Open your device manager (Right click Start Menu/Windows Icon and select "Device Manager").
Click "Display adapters", select the "Driver" tab and then click the "Update Driver" button.
Choose "Browse my computer for driver software".
Click "Let me pick from a list of available drivers on my computer" and then click the "Have Disk" button.
Click the "Browse" button and navigate to where you extracted the Intel .zip file, then open the "Graphics" folder and click "igdlh64" and then the "Open" button and then click "OK", and "OK" again.

Once it finishes installing the driver, restart. If you have issues with your nVidia driver, reinstall those too. Usually it puts me on an older one or it won't power down the GTX760m and reinstalling it cures that, in the case of the 1803 update it actually updated me to a newer driver, but still had the issue of the GTX760m never powering down (many people on the nVidia forum cited the same issue with that driver, I don't know if it's been fixed recently) but going back to my 390.65 driver that I was using pre-1803 update fixed the issue.
